Trump made the threat in a social media post as tensions rise between the US and its northern neighbour.

The person was shot amid the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, Gov. Tim Walz said.

There are reports that federal agents have been involved in another shooting in Minneapolis, city officials have said.

Footage of the incident appeared to show multiple law enforcement officers struggling with a man on the ground before a gunshot is heard

The incidents date from May 2024 through January 2025 and occurred in San Diego, El Cajon, National City, Lakeside and Oceanside.
